In 1999 the Lord gave Brother Mark Whistenant and his wife Sister Leona a vision to start an internet ministry called Jesus Name Radio. This ministry would be dedicated to the true apostolic doctrine and faith as preached by the apostles, by playing and promoting apostolic music and preaching only.
Sister Leona went on to be with the Lord in April 2006, This left a great void in the life of Brother Mark, but he was determined to carry on the ministry of Jesus Name Radio, then circumstance beyond his control forced him to take the ministry off the air for a period of time.
After much prayer, planning, encouragement and support from the listeners, Jesus Name Radio is now back on the air as a ministry of Life Tabernacle Church of Anniston, Alabama. However we still need the support of internet listeners like you to keep this ministry online.
Brother Mark Whistenant is the program director and general manager of Jesus Name Radio.
